Why Transparency Creates Clarity in Hybrid Teams
If you are a hybrid company, which most of the companies we work with nowadays are, then you have to make sure that communication doesn't break down, and that people that are coming into the office have the same information than people that are not coming into the office. Make sure that you acknowledge that this alignment and that clarity in a complex environment doesn't happen by itself. Clarity is really a prerequisite for energy because, if you aren't clear about the goals, then you can't expect anyone to drive with high energy towards them. The first step is transparency. Tactically that's an easy step, you just publish everyone's goals, but from a mindset shift, that can be really, really difficult because, now you're moving from, oh, I had my own goals and I had my goals for my team, and now everyone sees what we are working towards. That transparency is a first step to creating clarity.
